Be sure to check the numbers on the cards

with one comment

I was scouting my team today and noticed that my pitcher Robinson Tejada is a 183/76 not the 83/76 as written on his card.

Let this be a lesson to you all that numbers are all done by hand and mistakes sometimes happen, either forgetting to put a 1 in the hundreds place or key punch errors on a calculator.

I actually had to look at it 3 times to verfiy it was wrong.  It looked right after the glancing at it twice!

The latin phrase is caveat emptor, buyer beware.  So just be sure that it is your responsibility to check the numbers on the cards and if they end up being different its your own fault.

Damn!  83/76 was anchoring that bullpen…now he’ll be a starter.

  1. I look forward to rocking, I mean facing him.

Rolen is not worthy of being a 1st round pick. His bat is pretty mediocre against righties and that’s mostly what you face.
