Here’s the league members, teams, divisions, and playoff structure for the 2012 season.

There are 9 teams in the 2012 SABLE Baseball Season

  1. Tampa Bay Rays – Mike K
  2. New York Yankees – Sherwood M
  3. Oakland A’s – Mark G
  4. Seattle Mariners – Brian W
  5. Atlanta Braves – Mike S
  6. Chicago Cubs – Dom C
  7. Florida Marlins – Lynn H
  8. St. Louis Cardinals – Alvin S
  9. Boston Red Sox- Ken A

The teams will be in three divisions with three teams in each.


Division 1

Schedule

Each team will play two 4 game series within their division and two 3 game series with each team outside their division.

There will be 16 weeks of regular season games.

36 inter-divisional games & 16 divisional games.  The total games played for each team is 52.

Playoffs

Six teams will make the playoffs.  The three division winners will make the playoffs as #1,#2,&#3 seeds.  Of the remaining teams, the three teams with the best record shall be ranked #4,#5,& #6.

Final Two Teams                               Best of 7 World Series

2-3-2 Format. Home Field determined by All-Star Game.  If both in same league by highest seed remaining.
